We are already in our second month of 2013 and it appears that this year will go by just as fast as last year and the year before that and the year before that.  Many have declared and decreed and fasted and prayed that this year will be their year of uncommon provision.  Some believe that this uncommon provision will pour in like the ferocious streams of water pouring in profusely at the Iguazu Falls in Argentina.  Great! You have exercised your spiritual authority by faith. Now what?  Are you exercising your natural authority?  What do I mean by natural authority?  Exercising your natural authority means taking practical steps to get where God wants you to be by the leading of the Holy Spirit.

Contrary to popular belief exercising your spiritual authority is not enough.  You have to do something.  You have to take action. James 2:14-18 says it most clearly.

” What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if someone claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save them? Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food.  If one of you says to them, “Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it?  In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead. But someone will say, “You have faith; I have deeds.” Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by my deeds.”

In January I had a VIP day with Ericka D. Jackson, Kingdom Trainer and a dear friend (I have mentioned her before). God used her to help me put my vision on the wall, literally. We spent the entire day vision mapping. Vision mapping is a detailed and comprehensive process that helps a person identify and plan the practical steps required to manifest the vision.  By the end of the day, we devised a plan that would generate millions of dollars. It was amazing!  All I could say was “Wow!” It certainly looked beautiful on the wall. I have the faith and believe it can be done. But guess what? Unless I follow the plan and take action, this vision will not come in fruition. The brutal truth of the matter is that I can pray, fast and believe all I want but it will not happen. (Yes, I do believe in miracles though.) Believing that I will manifest  millions of dollars this year sitting on my tush doing nothing BUT praying and fasting is me pulling the wool over my own eyes.  It just does not work that way. I wish it did.  If it did I would not have to push and press so much to complete certain tasks. When we are manifesting the vision “pushing and pressing” is inevitable because life happens.

If you want to manifest provision, begin to exercise both your spiritual AND your natural authority.

Vision Action Steps:

1. Strive to hear God’s voice and ask Him to guide you on the road to vision manifestation

2. Remove or manage good and bad distractions. (Some distractions you can get rid of but others you can only manage)

3. Write out the vision and what has to happen to manifest the vision. Be specific. Include timelines, launch dates and what is needed to get it done.

4. Make an uncommon commitment to “show up” for your vision.

5. Have a set time to “show up” for your vision just like you would “show up” for a job.

6. Take an inventory of your T.A.G.S. (Talents, Abilities, Gifts, and Skills). God gave you these T.A.G.S. to use to complement the vision. There is provision in the vision.
